SECRETARY REPORT: None was given, Secretary position to open?
TREASURER REPORT: 1st Kris 2nd Nancy Sponsorships came in. Scholarships are ready to be sent out.
REGION REPORTS: Region 4- Snap Coalition Meeting
Region 5- GA possible training
Region 7- May 13th mini conference region meeting. 64 people region funds for meal reimbursements
LIASON REPORTS:
· DCYF: Mary- officially retired. Andrea will be join as is able until replacement.
· Healthcare: GE- No mets classes now thur July. Will send HC update soon.
·
CCAP:
Spring to CCAP trainings are more for seasoned workers for the in person meetings. May Meeting will be about policy support,
case reviews and Accuracy.
· MFIA: Spring Conference 13-15 of the May Fall conference Oct 1st in cities.
· DHS: Mary B. GA/Housing Support/MSA: Housing support approved offering on demand training
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
· Spring Speaker has been AWOL but finally reached out and confirmed still doing speaking engagement. Payment has been sent. Father passed away. Motion to get a thinking of you flowers.
· Website: Would like updates by June 5th to send out Newsletter June 12th. Sending out Blast for Spring Speaker. And will be recorded.
· Committee duties: Still a couple open spots
CONFERENCE:
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
o By-Laws: no updates
o Development/Hospitality: Swag/tshirts/ New signs made by Nancy and Bead stands. Nancy Motioned to up Board Basket funds max to $500, Discussed, tabled. Vote did not get completed. Carmel apple for bags
o Entertainment: Bingo secured. All extra cards being bought will go to the scholarship funds. Possibly decrease bingo extra cost?
o Elections: Make sure if your region is up for election this year, you email your region to determine if anyone else is interested so we know if we need to run an election for you.
o FW/CA Award: Needs to be a member, talked about letting the supervisor of the person that wins know ahead of time so they can maybe let their family know about the award? Maybe there is a chance of person finding out too this way.
Deadline- Looking at the end of Aug?
o Registration/Membership: No updates
o Sessions: Sarah P has all sessions and is ready to discuss, tabled until Monday.
o Speaker: Jacque has this under control. Contract still needs to be signed. $5,000.00. ½ due at signing and the other due at the conference.
New Business:
· June Meeting-Falls on holiday-reschedule? Rescheduled the meeting for Thursday the 18th or Monday the 15th
· Aquarium entertainment
· Site visit to complete meals and drink options
