MFWCAA Board Meeting
June 15 2026

SECRETARY REPORT: May Report, Position Open. 2 interested parties
TREASURER REPORT: May Report,
REGION REPORTS: Missy- Region meeting was good. Dustin Park from MN Story Collective, very informational. Dustin is presenting, replacing Missy & Maria’s slot.
LIASON REPORTS:
· DCYF: Andrea- Updated list for sessions to be sent out. – Round table still staying on
· Healthcare: GE- No mets classes now thur July. Will send HC update soon.
· CCAP:
· MFIA:
· DHS: Mary B. GA/Housing Support/MSA: will follow up with the MDVA to confirm their commitment and share any updates with Sarah and Andrea.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
· Secretary position and Conference
CONFERENCE:
Registration is to open July 1st.
Vendor tables are $60 and $75 with electric. *Send out vendor list to everyone. Ange to post vendor needed on facebook pages.
Board is staying at the Hampton on Canal Park.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
o By-Laws: no updates
o Development/Hospitality: Swag/tshirts/ New signs made by Nancy and Bead stands. Nancy Motioned to up Board Basket funds max to $500, Discussed, tabled. Vote did not get completed. Carmel apple for bags
o Entertainment: Bingo secured. All extra cards being bought will go to the scholarship funds. Possibly decrease bingo extra cost?
o Elections: Make sure if your region is up for election this year, you email your region to determine if anyone else is interested so we know if we need to run an election for you.
o FW/CA Award: Needs to be a member, talked about letting the supervisor of the person that wins know ahead of time so they can maybe let their family know about the award? Maybe there is a chance of person finding out too this way.
Deadline- Looking at the end of Aug?
o Registration/Membership: No updates
o Sessions: Sarah P has all sessions and is ready to discuss, tabled until Monday.
o Speaker: Jacque has this under control. Contract still needs to be signed. $5,000.00. ½ due at signing and the other due at the conference.
New Business:
· Site Visit June 29th
· Region 7 training
